OUR HISTORY
In 2003 the ELCA - Evangelical Church in America - realized a need for a congregation to be started in the Island Lake area.

The new congregation would focus on ministry on the needs of an expanding young population.
​
Wth the ELCA vision, support from our mission partnership and a primary mission launch from Family of God Lutheran Church, on March 1, 2004, the church congregation of Waters of Life was birthed into reality.
​
We began worshiping in the Gnesen Community Center, moved to the red/white striped tent and on July 11, 2009 we moved into beautiful church building we have today.
